Do you use it along with the liquid detergent or is it something you use by itself? Just wondering because the details/instructions on the box didn't really inform me that much.
You don't use it by itself. You add a half cup to a cup along with your regular detergent. It gets clothes cleaner and makes whites whiter.

Borax is primarily a water softener. It will make your normal detergent more effective if you have hard water.
